Proud to Be the Provider for Central Florida
The Central Florida Behavioral Health Hub (CFL-BHH or Hub) is part of a statewide Florida Pediatric Behavioral Health Collaborative (FPMHC) network. It’s goal is to help improve access to mental health services for children and adolescents, ages 0–21 years.
The Central Florida regional hub services Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties with funding from the Florida Department of Health, Division of Children’s Medical Services.

What the Hub Has to Offer
The Hub has three main parts to improve access for pediatric mental health care:
1. Provider Training and Case Consultation
- Weekly provider (Doc-2-Doc) case consults during scheduled times via Microsoft Teams with the Hub’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists and/or Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician to review cases, provide short trainings and review pertinent articles.
- Quarterly trainings for providers on mental, emotional, behavioral and developmental (MEBD) health topics.
2. Care Coordination
- Free care coordination for children who need MEDB health care — regardless of insurance. Also covers children with Medicaid who do not already have care coordination services.
- Care coordinator follows up with referred families and helps improve the communication between the community-based behavioral health provider (BHP) and pediatric primary care providers (PCPs).
3. Parent Training
- Family access to Parent Trainings for caregivers of children with ADHD and other behavioral health concerns. The AAP recommends parent trainings as the initial form of ADHD treatment for young children. Participants learn strategies and tools for parents with the power of positivity.
How to Work With Us
Counties Served: Brevard, Orange, Osceola and Seminole
The Florida Pediatric Mental Health Collaborative (FPMHC) mission is to increase the confidence, knowledge and skill sets of pediatric primary care providers, and to improve the identification and treatment of children with behavioral health care needs by offering skill building training, technical assistance and resources.
Pediatric providers from Central Florida can engage with our regional Hub under the FPMHC. The Hub’s services come at no cost to providers or practices except the time investment in consultation, referrals, collaboration and training provided by the Hub.
Get Involved. If interested in collaborating with the Hub, email CFL-BHH@nemours.org to schedule a brief call with the Hub’s team.
DISCLAIMER:
Referrals from Enrolled and Participating Providers is NOT a Crisis Referral Service and only accepts referrals for nonacute, nonsevere mental and behavioral health needs.
If a child/adolescent has an ACUTE mental health need or experiences a crisis we advise you contact the crisis services listed under RESOURCES.
Training Library
The Hub provides skill-building trainings that are recorded along with resources from behavioral health providers to build PCPs capacity in mental health diagnoses, treatment and referrals. These trainings are based on the results of the needs assessments completed by engaged providers with the Hub.
Coordinated Care for the Best Outcomes
If you need assistance getting behavioral health care for your child, please talk to your pediatric primary care provider about referring to the Central Florida Behavioral Health Hub.
If you were referred to the Hub by your child’s PCP you will be contacted by the Hub’s Care Coordinator within two business days of receiving the referral. The Care Coordinator will gather information to better understand your child’s behavioral health needs and to assist with connecting you to resources and/or community-based behavioral health organizations and providers to best meet your child’s needs.
Please know that your PCP is responsible for your child’s overall care, including prescribing medications.
